imx test bench solutions are optimized for different areas of application and support developers and manufacturers of electric motors with state-of-the-art test bench hardware and test procedures.

Power classes and motor types

From approx. 100W to several 100kW, our test benches excel in testing electric motors on a daily basis. A wide variety of motor types, from EC/BLDC motors, DC and stepper motors to servomotors or the frequently used asynchronous machines, can be tested and subjected to a wide range of tests.

Practical solutions are also available for gear motors or kit motors as well as for testing drives that are loaded on both sides, such as e-bike drives or electric steering systems.

No motor test without software. Our imx OMEGA test bench software simplifies, accelerates and standardizes. It supports all the processes needed to manage the many tasks involved in e-motor testing.

From motor management and monitoring to DUT and test bench protection and report generation, imx OMEGA supports all the processes required to test electric motors - from the development test bench to end-of-line quality control.

imx test benches - workstations that fit

imx test benches are characterized by a variety of specific features. At first glance, the uniform and structured design of our development test stands and end-of-line test benches is striking.

The aim of this design is to achieve optimum ergonomics and thus adapt each workstation to the needs of the user. In doing so, we draw on our more than 35 years of experience in test bench construction.

Test solutions beyond the electric motor

As a specialist in electric motors, we are at home in electromechanics. It is therefore not surprising that imx successfully implements test bench solutions for electromechanical components such as bicycle drives, pumps, actuators or various components in the automotive industry.
