Fast and reliable measurement services
Do you need an economically efficient solution for a measurement task on electric motors? We are here for you – during order peaks or when test and measurement capacities are already maxed out. Perhaps the purchase of a test bench for e-motors is not worthwhile due to low quantities or you are looking for a permanent service partner?
We help quickly and efficiently. We adapt our test benches to the requirements of customer-specific motors (mechanical and electrical adaptation) and deliver the desired motor parameters and results, precisely and with traceability.
Our measurement results can be used as a basis for product development as well as for the assessment of production quality. If required, we can also help with the analysis and interpretation of the measurement data.

Highest measurement quality and risk minimizationIn imx test benches, electro-mechanical and measurement components are combined to create solutions with the highest levels of accuracy. A factory calibration certificate documents the accuracy of each fully functionally tested and delivered test stand.
However, accuracy as a measure of quality of a test or measurement is subject to ageing and wear. In the course of operation and depending on the operating conditions, the measurement uncertainties change.
This is controlled by regular calibration (e.g. in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 or as required by internal/external customers). Regular calibration assures the user that the imx test stand solution used is working reliably within the tolerance limits.
imx guarantees its calibration values for a period of 12 months.
After this period, the system should be calibrated and adjusted if necessary. We therefore recommend carrying out an annual calibration. It is particularly effective if the test bench is subjected to complete maintenance (imx test bench maintenance) or a functional test (imx test bench inspection) – either directly on site or, if desired, at the imx test bench laboratory.

Experienced operators of machinery and test benches know this: Regular maintenance of systems and test benches minimizes production and development downtimes, increases safety, reduces costs – and, last but not least, gives you a good sense of well-being.
In imx test benches, electromechanical and measurement components are combined into solutions with the highest levels of accuracy. They are often exposed to usage and environmental conditions that can lead to unforeseen and premature signs of ageing and wear. Precision, as a quality assessment criteria for a measurement often suffers from ageing and wear.
Defects that are not detected or detected too late can endanger people and the test bench. Loose cable connections, defective ventilation or worn bearings pose serious health and fire hazards
To prevent unpleasant surprises, imx test benches and end-of-line systems should be serviced by specialists. Only regular and professional servicing increases reliability and minimizes unscheduled downtime. Expensive emergency interventions are significantly reduced.
This is why we recommend preventive maintenance. In contrast to emergencies, maintenance work can be planned in such a way that processes on the development test bench or in production are not or only minimally affected. A maintenance contract provides additional planning and investment security as well as financial benefits.

If something should happen
imx test benches are long-life capital goods. The use of selected and proven components and our quality standards guarantee high availability and a long service life. We therefore ensure the safety of your investment.
But what if something happens?
Whether on site or at our premises – our technicians and engineers will analyze, repair and maintain your system and then subject it to a complete function test. This is the best and safest way to restore the functionality of your system and to find hidden faults. On request, we can also offer you defined service response times for your test bench. Just ask us.
By the way: Most resources are used during production and not during the use of a product. We know that a long service life not only saves money on new purchases, but also many valuable raw materials and energy and therefore also helps to protect the environment in general.
Trainings
The path to knowledge transfer
For the standard product lines, we offer a well-founded training concept that builds on each other. Our hands-on training courses teach each user how to use the imx software and test bench hardware, as well as their metrological components.
The training is based on a series of courses so that the appropriate techniques and ideas for solving your problem are taught depending on the desired scope or complexity of the task. The training courses are interactive, i.e. the training topics are practiced using practical examples, usually on the existing test benches. This type of training makes it easier to apply what you have learned to your own day-to-day work.
Small group sizes mean that participants have direct access to the trainer and can actively participate in the training. We provide the necessary infrastructure for training at our sites. We are also happy to arrange individual courses and on-site training..
