imx OMEGA is the software base for all imx electric motor test benches. User-friendly, reliable, scalable, cost-effective and specialised in test bench solutions down to the last detail – imx OMEGA will keep you one step ahead in motor testing.
Our software provides comprehensive functionality for managing electric motors, test items and test parameters for all imx test benches. It allows easy and time-saving configuration and adaptation of test sequences to different DUTs and sequence scenarios. imx OMEGA monitors limit values to protect the test bench and the DUTs, and controls data storage of both recorded measurements and calculated test results.
The parameters of the test, the test specimen, etc. can be adjusted in the Configurator.
The test stand is operated and the measurement data is visualized in the panel (current display).
The software has three user levels that can be assigned to users with different rights. Each user of the software is assigned a corresponding level.
The test item information must first be selected in the control box. After selecting the desired test type and the associated test parameters, the test can be started.
Curves or individual values can be displayed during the ongoing measurement using curve windows or a large number of other widgets.
The test status is reported during a-motor test. If an error occurs, it is displayed with the error number and description.
The evaluation is carried out automatically or manually in an offline process.
The results of the evaluation are stored as a PDF report and in the raw data folder.
The navigation buttons can be used to quickly switch to the different panel views.
imx OMEGA comprehensive and up-to-date
imx OMEGA allows easy and time-saving adaptation of test sequences to different specimens and process scenarios. The operating software monitors limits to protect the test bench and specimens, and stores metadata and measurement data as well as all test results. User management controls access to different areas and is used for rights management.
imx OMEGA is expandable, secure, reliable and always up to date. In contrast to customised solutions, the product status guarantees continuous further development of the functionalities and thus investment security. Thanks to the flexible software concept, it is also possible to independently program new test types, change the sequence of existing test types and adapt the control and automation processes. We are happy to provide the necessary know-how as part of a training course.

Faster through automation
In the imx OMEGA Configurator, the test individual information and limit values that are subject to monitoring during the test are adjusted. The parameters of the test types are divided into those that control the test sequence and those that are taken into account in the evaluation. These can be created and configured independently of each other.
The imx OMEGA test plans enable the cyclical repetition and sequencing of predefined tests. This allows the test object to be subjected to a sequence of tests that the user does not have to monitor explicitly, so that the tests can run overnight, over the weekend or over a longer period of time (endurance tests), for example.
