“With the increasing spread of electric vehicles (BEV), a large number of electric drives and drive variants are entering the market. Increasing numbers of units and high demands on quality and reliability are bringing new and expanded test strategies. This in turn requires flexible and powerful test benches, innovative measurement technology and complex simulation methods.” (Source VDI)
Experts in testing and measurement technology will meet on the subject “Testing and validating electrical drive trains”. Visit our stand. The “test bench” and “test types” for electric motors are our focus.
We are looking forward to your visit. In addition, we would like to invite you to our lecture during the conference.
Static and dynamic methods for flux measurement on permanently excited synchronous motors.
For the design of controls for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), knowing the correlation between the applied current and the resulting magnetic flux is of crucial importance. The imx lecture at the VDI conference presents the methods, the required measurement setups and typical measurement procedures as well as the procedure for calculating the magnetic flux.
In addition, it will be demonstrated in the lecture how the flux characteristic field, which is in general strongly nonlinear due to magnetic saturation and cross-coupling effects, can be described by relatively compact analytical equations.
