Version 3.1 of the imx OMEGA test bench software for electric motor and component test benches is now available.
For the new version, numerous improvements have been made to increase performance as well as additions to well-proven functions. These include the test plans, the end-of-line add-on, new report layouts, functional enhancements and updates to the imx OMEGA REval layout, etc. With these innovations, we also want to maintain the value and increase the effectiveness of existing test benches.
The most important new features include
- Pause and resume for procedures
- Grouping of test steps, improvement of the user interface in the imx OMEGA Test Plan add-on
- Variable use of the end-of-line mode of the imx OMEGA End-Of-Line add-on
- New layout for test reports
- New layout and expansion of imx OMEGA REval
- Further improvements and bug fixes
Thanks to new functions, users of automated test sequences can now adapt and execute test sequences to different test objects and scenarios even more easily.
We recommend that all customers, including users of older test bench software, take advantage of the features offered by imx OMEGA. It ensures that the performance, safety and functionality of the test benches are maintained. Continuous improvements and new functions ensure that the software is up-to-date in the future.
If you renew your test bench software by 31st of March 2024, you will receive our modern evaluation tool imx REval for free. With imx REval, you can compare different measurements and tests quickly and easily. This add-on for post-processing measurements also has a new look, the user interface has been redesigned and new methods for processing measurement data have been implemented.
