imx test bench calibration & adjustment – check and adjust accuracy!
In imx test benches, electromechanical and measurement technology components are combined to form solutions with the highest accuracies. A factory calibration certificate documents the accuracy of each fully functionally tested and delivered test bench.
However, precision, as a criteria for assessing the quality of a measurement of a test or a measurement procedure, suffers from aging and wear. During operation and depending on the operating conditions, the measurement uncertainties change. This is monitored by regular calibration (as required, for example, by DIN EN ISO 9001 or by internal/external customers). Regular calibration ensures the user that the imx test bench solution used is working reliably within the tolerance limits.
imx guarantees its calibration values over a period of 12 months. After that, a calibration and possibly also an adjustment of the system should be done. We therefore recommend performing an annual calibration. It is particularly effective to conduct a complete maintenance (imx test bench maintenance) or a functional test (imx test bench inspection) of the test bench – directly on site or, if desired, at imx in the test bench laboratory.
